Workers Solidarity : ウィキペディア英語版 | Workers Solidarity
''Workers Solidarity'' is the bi-monthly publication of the Irish anarchist organisation, the Workers Solidarity Movement. It is intended to provide an accessible introduction to anarchism for members of the public and to spread the influence of anarchist ideas in Ireland. It takes its name from the newspaper of the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo, ''Solidaridad Obrera''. ==History== When the Workers Solidarity Movement was founded in 1984, the members immediately began to publish ''Workers Solidarity'' as a primary part of their activity. It was first produced in a traditional newspaper format and sold for 20 Irish pence. Members distributed it in local pubs and at political rallies and demonstrations. Early issues were written in support of the Dunnes Stores strike against apartheid and against Catholic Church control of education. The paper changed in 2000 to its current format. Members distribute Workers Solidarity primarily door-to-door in their local neighbourhoods, and also at political demonstrations and other events. As of February 2008, it has released 100 issues and has a print run of 8,000.
